To provide our AI-powered services, we use third-party service providers to process the content you choose to submit. Audio and video recordings may be sent to Deepgram for transcription. Transcripts, uploaded file content, webpage or YouTube content, note text, note titles, and chat or study prompts may be sent to OpenAI to generate notes, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, embeddings, and assistant responses. We also store uploaded files and generated notes using our database and storage providers so the Service can save and display your notes. These providers maintain their own privacy and security practices, and we share only the data necessary for these services to function.
We implement various security measures to protect your data. This includes encrypting data during transmission, using secure data storage systems, conducting regular security reviews, and maintaining access control systems.
Beyond the necessary use of AI service providers mentioned above, we aim to limit data sharing with third parties. Additional data sharing may occur when needed to provide and improve our services, respond to legal requirements, or protect our rights and safety.
We keep your personal information while you use our services. You can request deletion of your data, which we will process in accordance with applicable laws and technical requirements.
